Amy Smart

Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. Growing up and being raised in California, USA, she started her modelling career in Italy. She began her acting career in the year 1996 with the TV film 'Her Costly Affair'. Her struggle was to find an appearance as a character for the role of a star in Starship Troopers, despite having appeared in numerous films. Amy was unable to make the leap from modeling into acting since models are often not considered actors. They were often granted small, non-important roles. But somehow, Amy decided to stay the course and moved into more prominent roles later, beginning with a series called 'The 70's' and the film "Varsity Blues". In 2005, she took as the lead in the romantic comedy called 'Just Friends'. Ryan Reynolds also was in the film. The film became a massive business success at the box office, and Amy discovered the recognition she'd been trying for for more than 10 years. She continued to do important films like"Crank," a series that starred Jason Statham and the series "Shameless," where she was a popular regular character.
