Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997) are some of her most notable films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in the month of March, 2020. She oversees the Assassination Witness as well as part of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. Research conducted by the GITOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economics. She is also interested in the impacts of organized crime and human rights in the context of humanitarian policies and law. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum the laude award from the field of International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her an LL.M. cum laude for Public Law. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer by training and worked for 4 years at the public law litigation company. In her past, she was employed in non-governmental organizations the headquarters of Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
