LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful athlete of all time and has frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James is the winner of four NBA Championships as well as Four NBA MVP Awards and Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of 2 Olympic Gold medals. James is second in most career goals and seventh most assists. James has been named for the NBA All Star team 18 times. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between the year 2011 until 2018. James was selected for part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball in St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed him as an NBA star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. Being the NBA rookie player in 2004 he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league. winning the NBA MVP awards in 2009 and 2010. James did not win the award with Cleveland, and then left Cleveland with the status of"a "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed by the television show The Decision.
